Today we are talking about the most common misconceptions about moving to and living in Midlothian. The biggest thing we hear, “oh, there’s nothing there,” or “where is that?” Location wise, let’s start there. Dallas is to the north right up highway 67, Fort Worth right up 287, both are less than 30 miles from Midlothian. If you have a job in one of these big cities, or want to work in one of these big cities, Midlothian creates that opportunity. We have a great school system here in Midlothian as well. In regard to not being anything to do, we have had a lot of newly built homes and so many families moving into ellis county. The area is thriving. In Midlothian, we have Twisted sisters Brewery that should be opening soon, we are about to have a new tap house which is going to be great with live music, corn hole, fire pits, all that kind of stuff, it will be right here off main street, some wine bars coming in and founders row is almost done. We will have all those great things right here in Midlothian.
We are not a tiny city, there are things to do and its a prime location if you have to work in the surrounding cities!
If you are looking for more information related to our city or buying a home, we would love to be your local expert.
