Hey everyone! I’m Haleigh. Today we’re going to talk about open houses.
In this market, an open house is so important. A year and half to two years ago, it would have been- sure I want to do one because the seller wants us too. Now, it is how many open houses can we cram into that first weekend that it’s on the market.
As a buyers agent, as we are out showing, we are going into open houses and they are packed.
As a listing agent, we are getting more attention to that listing than we ever have before, with the open houses. We highly encourage getting in as many as you can that first weekend.
As a seller, we want to make sure that you are doing those little extra’s to make your house stand out to all the consumers. Put out little bottles of water, a little snack, easy to grab and easy to go items. Popcorn, cookies, anything that makes that experience a little bit better at your house that would give you the best offers you can.
